The 2022-2023 regular season is the core of Millstadt Miners player development program. We follow the USA Hockey American Development Model for Long Term Athlete Development. Millstadt Miners is affiliated with Missouri Hockey.
Ages
We have programs and teams for players from 6U to 18U.
When
The 2022-2023 season runs from August through March.
Games
The Missouri Hockey determines how many games each team will play. Typically, each team will play approximately 4 Declaration games and 12-18 season league games.
Jerseys
Jersey orders are placed at the beginning of the season.
Players born in even numbered years (ex. 2010) have even jersey numbers, while players born in odd numbered years (ex. 2011) have odd jersey numbers. Players keep their jersey numbers throughout their career with Millstadt Miners.
Extra Costs
At the 6U and 8U levels, families may opt to play in Jamborees or other events where multiple games are played in a weekend.
At older levels, teams may opt to travel to tournaments outside the St. Louis region.
